Moorings + Anchorages

External Moorings

External moorings at Stansbury, Edithburgh and Black Point are available on a first come, first serve basis and use is at the owners risk. Members should be aware that these moorings are for use only at the discretion and risk of the individual skipper.

Please note:

  • Rafting is not permitted under any circumstances
  • Unregistered vessels and those without full insurance are strictly prohibited
  • The skipper must hold a valid boat licence
  • Vessels that are too heavy or too large to use the CYCSA slip should avoid using the regular moorings
  • Mega Mooring at Stansbury is engineered for larger vessels. It operates on a first come, first served basis and usage is at the owner’s risk. However, the CYCSA requests that smaller vessels use the regular moorings first.

The Club has engaged an ongoing external contractor to conduct annual maintenance.
