The Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia is delighted to welcome you to our Italian inspired restaurant, Mariners Ristorante. Catering for up to 32 guests, Mariners Ristorante is a refined, casual dining experience which is also available for private bookings for up to 60 people. 

Bringing back the taste of Assaggio, award-winning Chef Camillo Crugnale, together with our host, look forward to welcoming you in the newly remodelled Mariners room overlooking the picturesque world-class marina at North Haven complete with upscale service.

Private Bookings
Mariners is also available for private bookings any day for bookings of 16-60 guests. With the perfect combination of food and atmosphere, Mariners is the ideal choice for your next special occasion or corporate lunch.

Private functions are in high demand on Saturday and Sunday, especially for lunch. So we encourage you to please make a reservation in advance online or phone our functions host to check for availability as some dates are booked months in advance. Our Menus
In addition to our full à la carte menu, we offer two and three course menus accompanied with complimentary snacks. We also offer a five course ‘all at sea’ menu with complimentary amuse bouche snacks, bread selection, a palate cleanser sorbetto and petit fours.

It is my first time visiting, where are you located?
Mariners Ristorante in located within the Cruising Yacht Club of SA overlooking it’s stunning marina views. Please enter via Gate 1 from the private drive-way off Lady Gowrie Drive, North Haven. Once through the gates there is extensive, secure free parking.

Do you accept walk-in Guests?
Subject to availability we can accept walk-ins. Advance bookings are highly recommended. For bookings up to 8 guests please contact us directly.

How often does the menu change? 
Our menu changes every 12 weeks to reflect the season and freshest produce.

What are the menu options?
We offer a full à la carte menu along side of Chef’s exclusive multi-course tasting menus.

How long does it take to dine? 
To avoid being rushed and to allow you and your guests to enjoy your dining experience we recommend you allow a 2-3 hour duration.

Do you accommodate dietary requirements and food allergies?
Yes, we can accommodate our tasting menu to suit most dietary requirements & allergies.

Please inform us of all allergies at the time of booking as modifications cannot be made on the day of your reservation. Unfortunately, on our current menu due to the complexity of some dishes, we are unable to accommodate the following dietary concerns: vegan / egg allergy / no onion / no garlic.

Is the Restaurant at Mariners well available for private hire?
Absolutely! Subject to availability, private bookings of 16 guests or more must be made in advance.  We ask interested parties to contact us so we can organise a meeting and discuss our private function options.

Is your venue accessible to people with mobility restrictions?
Yes, please let us know in your booking so we can allocate a suitable table close to the access.

What is the dress code?
There’s no strict dress code, however, most people come dressed smart/casual. 

Can I bring my children?
Children 12 years and older are more than welcome to dine at the restaurant, but please be aware that there is no reduction in menu size or price. If you are bringing your 12+ year old child to dine please reserve them a seat. The full menu price will apply. Prams and highchairs are not permissible in the restaurant.

Do you allow BYO?
Yes, corkage is $30 per 750 ml bottle, with a maximum of two bottles per table. The bottle in question must also not be on our wine list. Please contact us should you wish to BYO.

Can I bring a cake to your restaurant?
For special occasions we encourage you to bring your own cake 12 hours before your seating.

Can I bring a food or nibbles to your restaurant?
A great deal of thought and time has gone into the creation of each course, and the menu as a whole concept. Therefore, we respectfully ask that outside food not be brought into the restaurant. 

Can we bring decorations for the table?
With respect to all our guests and to avoid disrupting anyone’s view and experience, we do not allow any balloons, ornaments, or table decorations to be brought into the restaurant unless you have booked a private event. If you do have a specific request to add a special touch to the table, please email or call us in advance to see if there is anything we can accommodate.

What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that bookings of up to 8 guests provide at least 48-hours prior notice of cancellation or reduction in guest numbers. Bookings of 9 guests or more require at least 72-hours notice of cancellation or reduction in guest numbers.

Is the restaurant dog friendly?
No, pets are not allowed in the restaurant, however service animals are welcome.
