Registered Contractors
As part of our commitment to our Quality, Safety & Environmental Standards Certifications, the CYCSA requires all Contractors performing work on its premises to participate in an on-site induction and be listed on our Inducted Contractors Register.
If you would like to register as an Inducted Contractor, please contact Reception on 8248 4222 / reception@cycsa.com.au for further information about the application and induction process.

Marine Card Induction
IMPORTANT NOTE *As of 1st of March 2015 ALL contractors MUST provide a valid Marine Card to commence or continue work on CYCSA premises. Contractors without a valid Marine Card and contractor insurance policy lodged with the office will be in breach of the CYCSA’s business management system.
The Marine Card Program has been introduced into South Australia’s marine industry. Developed by the BIANSW in 2008, the Program is aimed to improve Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) awareness throughout the whole of the recreational boating industry, and provide a framework for contractors, marinas, and boatyards to manage basic compliance with WHS laws in this State.

There are three components to the Marine Card Program:

The Marine Card course is now available anywhere, anytime!
The induction content remains specific and relevant to the boating industry and the risks and hazards which we see in our workplaces. The course has been streamlined, and now takes less than 2 hours to complete – in one sitting, or multiple short sittings as suits the user. The cost per person is still $130 (inc. gst), and the 5+ year validity of the Marine Card and individual online profile is unchanged.
AND….recognising that boating industry workers may be required to hold the Construction Industry White Card at some workplaces or when undertaking construction work, you can now achieve your White Card at the same time you complete the Marine Card induction. Add White Card to your shopping cart for an additional $50, and about 15 minutes extra assessment work.
The process simple and user friendly – from registration and payment, through to completing the online assessments. Marine Card trainees can now do their General WHS induction for the boating and construction industries at their own pace, and in a time and place of their choosing. You told us you wanted it, and we know that this will save industry time and money.
