The Cruising Yacht Club of SA hosts many events throughout the year, ranging from fun social gatherings to family events and fiercely competitive racing events and everything in between! Event dates are subject to change, please contact Reception for up-to-date information.

For Racing events please refer to the Racing Documents page for applicable Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions, or check in with the Race office for up-to-date information including any scheduling changes.

Club Function Booking / Refund Policy
Due to the cost of catering all bookings will be taken as confirmed 72 hours prior to a function and will be invoiced to members accounts accordingly. There will be NO REFUND for non attendance / bookings cancelled after this period.

Veteran Sailing SA

Calling all military veterans and current serving members!
Join the Veteran Sailing SA group on Friday 17 May and enjoy something different beyond their regular program.

Explore cruising yachts: ‘Free Fallin’ a 43ft Beneteau Oceanis and ‘Aquilla’ the stunning 64ft ketch, designed by Laurie Davidson, New Zealand. Enjoy a brief sail onboard ‘Aquilla’ – weather permitting.

Opportunity for Defence veterans and serving members to get out on the water on a cruising boat. The owners of the boats who are veterans and experienced sailors will be on hand, so sailing experience is not necessary if you want to give sailing a go and spend time with others who’ve served.
No prior sailing experience necessary; this free event is laid-back and welcoming to all veterans and current serving members. For more information, please contact Darren via the CYCSA reception.
Time: 11:45am – 5:00pm.
