The Cruising Yacht Club of SA hosts many events throughout the year, ranging from fun social gatherings to family events and fiercely competitive racing events and everything in between! Event dates are subject to change, please contact Reception for up-to-date information.

Club Function Booking / Refund Policy
Due to the cost of catering all bookings will be taken as confirmed 72 hours prior to a function and will be invoiced to members accounts accordingly. There will be NO REFUND for non attendance / bookings cancelled after this period.

Cruise to Port Vincent – King’s Birthday Weekend 2023

For those vessels going across to Port Vincent for the King’s Birthday Weekend, the Cruising Association will be holding two club events:

BYO BBQ get together on Saturday night, drinks commencing at 5.00pm in the marina kitchen;
and, on
Sunday night, dinner at 6.00pm at the Ventnor Hotel. Please book the Ventor dinner through Adrian Wotton. Details below.

All welcome – yachties, power boats and other SA yacht club members.

Timings 

  • To Port Vincent: departure from CYCSA either Friday 9 June or Saturday 10 June
  • Returning home: departure Monday 12 June.

Special Price
Port Vincent Marina fees have recently increased.  As this is a CYCSA Cruising event, the old pricing applies to CYCSA Club members.

Responsibility and Liability
All responsibility and liability remain with the Skipper of their vessel. As always, cruising is weather dependent and the decision to start or return remains with each Skipper. Please monitor weather forecasts prior and during the weekend event.
