Members Information Evening
CYCSA Members Information Session – Friday 3rd September at 7.30pm
As previously communicated through Club correspondence, a ‘specially formed working group’ consisting of Club Treasurer David Roper (Chair), President Dominic Rinaldi, Board Member Doreen Perrin, Life Member Graeme Footer, Finance, Audit & Risk Committee Member David Hughes and General Manager Adam Hays, was formed by the Board in September 2020 tasked at making improvements to the Club’s overall governance standards inclusive of bringing the Clubs Constitution up to current requirements and attending to any anomalies.
This Committee has met regularly through the past 12 months to cover an array of Club policies, regulations, charters, and legislative requirements culminating in several recommendations to the Board.
The Board approved Constitutional amendments are currently being finalised by the Clubs legal representatives and will be communicated to all members in order to form part of the agenda at this year’s AGM (Thursday 23rd September).
We invite you to attend a Members Information Session – on Friday 3rd September at 7.30pm in Horizons Function room.
The purpose of this session is to explain the rationale and details of the proposed amendments to our Constitution and provide Members the opportunity to provide feedback prior to their finalisation for the AGM.
Admirals Bar and Bistro will be open from 5.00pm.
