The Cruising Yacht Club of SA hosts many events throughout the year, ranging from fun social gatherings to family events and fiercely competitive racing events and everything in between! Event dates are subject to change, please contact Reception for up-to-date information.

Weekly Members Draw – Join us every Thursday evening for your chance to win. (Please note: On Public Holidays, the draw may take place earlier, or the Club may be closed. In such cases, the draw will resume the following week.)

Club Function Booking / Refund Policy
Due to the cost of catering all bookings will be taken as confirmed 72 hours prior to a function and will be invoiced to members accounts accordingly. There will be NO REFUND for non attendance / bookings cancelled after this period.

EASTER to ANZAC DAY LOOP:  CYCSA – Kangaroo Island – Yorke Peninsula – CYCSA.
Good Friday 18 April – Sunday 27 April (10 Days)

The CYCSA Cruisers are taking the opportunity to merge the Easter and Anzac Day holidays to create a 10-day event (that only costs three annual leave days!).
Join us for all or any of the program as we sail in a loop via KI and Yorke Peninsula.  All welcome.

Program (Weather permitting, so may be subject to change).

  • Saturday 19th April, 5.30pm – Dinner at Penneshaw Hotel, KI (book here)
  • Monday 21st April, 4.00pm – BYO Sundowners at Rocky Point Beach, KI
  • Wednesday 23rd April, 12.00pm – Lunch at Emu Bay Lavender, KI (book here)**
  • Friday 25th April, 6.45am – Port Vincent ANZAC Day March to the war memorial from the bowling clubrooms. Starts at 6.45am, followed by a service at 7am. Gunfire breakfast at the bowling club at the conclusion of the march.
  • Saturday 26th April, 3.00pm – Black Point BBQ. Port Adelaide Sailing Club Cruisers have kindly invited us to join in their beach barbie (BYO everything, more details to come).

** Note Emu Bay Lavender is a 35-minute walk to from the kiosk end of Emu Bay beach.

During the event we encourage communication between boats on VHF Channel 72.
