The Cruising Yacht Club of SA hosts many events throughout the year, ranging from fun social gatherings to family events and fiercely competitive racing events and everything in between! Event dates are subject to change, please contact Reception for up-to-date information.

Club Function Booking / Refund Policy
Due to the cost of catering all bookings will be taken as confirmed 72 hours prior to a function and will be invoiced to members accounts accordingly. There will be NO REFUND for non attendance / bookings cancelled after this period.

Tuna Charter

The CYCSA Fishing Association Committee has organised a full day trip with Southern Fishing Charters out of Wirrina.

Southern Fishing Charter’s 50’ vessel Fish Stalker and their experienced crew specialise in offshore fishing around Kangaroo Island and know these waters well. Through his general knowledge and expertise the charter is sure to deliver an exhilarating and productive fishing experience.

All participants that catch fish, get to keep their catch up to the legal bag limits. 

Price $350pp  / Special Price for FA Members $330 pp

** Meet at Wirrina 5.45am for 6am departure.***All charters leaving from Marina St Vincent, Wirrina at 6:00am.

Please note this charter is for Club members and their invited guests.

There will be a trophy awarded for the biggest fish on the day and your catch can be entered in the annual Fishing Association competition (only Club members eligible for trophy/awards).

T&Cs

  1. Payment: Members & their guests may charge to their CYCSA Club account. Social members may charge to their account but must pay prior to the charter. Non-Club members are required to pay in full prior to the event to secure your booking.
  2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
    • Cancellations due to poor weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., mechanical failure, government restrictions) will result in a full refund of the booking price.
    • If the booking is cancelled by the customer, at least 30 days’ notice is required for a full refund.
  3. Weather and Safety: The decision to cancel or reschedule the charter due to weather conditions will be made by the skipper. Safety is our top priority.
