Offshore Fishing Charter

The CYCSA Fishing Association Committee is pleased to offer members a full-day offshore reef fishing charter on the South/East Coast of Kangaroo Island with Southern Fishing Charters, featuring their newly commissioned 65’ Westcoaster a purpose-built offshore vessel designed for enhanced comfort, safety and maximum time on the fishing grounds.

All participants that catch fish, get to keep their catch up to the legal bag limits.

The Fishing Plan
Tuna are making their seasonal appearance south of Kangaroo Island, and we plan to target them on the run out to the reefs. Once on the grounds, we’ll be fishing productive deep reef systems for:  Nannygai, Snapper,  Trevally, Blue Morwong, Shark and other reef species.

While recent algal bloom activity has reduced fishing opportunities in Gulf St Vincent, these deeper reef systems are clean and fishing extremely well. Southern Fishing Charters’ experienced crew know these waters intimately and consistently deliver productive and exciting fishing experiences. All participants who catch fish are able to keep their catch within the legal bag limits.
Trip Details
• Departure: Marina St Vincent, Wirrina
• Meet: Sunday 1 February at 5:45am and depart at 6:00am sharp
• Duration: Full day offshore charter
• Cost for CYCSA Members: $330pp

T&Cs

  1. Payment: Members & their guests may charge to their CYCSA Club account. Social members may charge to their account but must pay prior to the charter. Non-Club members are required to pay in full prior to the event to secure your booking.
  2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
    • Cancellations due to poor weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., mechanical failure, government restrictions) will result in a full refund of the booking price.
    • If the booking is cancelled by the customer, at least 30 days’ notice is required for a full refund.
  3. Weather and Safety: The decision to cancel or reschedule the charter due to weather conditions will be made by the skipper. Safety is our top priority.

 

 

Club Function Booking / Refund Policy
Due to the cost of catering all bookings will be taken as confirmed 72 hours prior to a function and will be invoiced to members accounts accordingly. There will be NO REFUND for non attendance / bookings cancelled after this period.
