Casual Event / Front of House Staff

The CYCSA is on the lookout for casual event staff as required.

Additional hours may available in our bar & bistro in the spring/summer trade period for successful applicants.

Must be experienced in all front of house areas including:

  • Bar service
  • Food Service including a la carte and function service
  • Barista skills
  • Minimum requirement is a RSA certificate
  • RP badge and Barista skills would be favourable

This will be casual based employment and hours will vary including weekend and evening work.

Apprentice Chef

Admirals Bistro is a premier seafood eatery & Horizon function centre is one of the best function centres situated right on water at North Haven. Admirals Bistro dishes up modern seafood cuisine for lunch / dinner 5 days a week Wednesday to Sunday. Admirals and Horizons function centre is looking for a two 1st Year Apprentice Chef or one 1st year and second year to join the team.

Being part of our team enables you to train under a diverse, talented group of individuals who lead through encouragement, respect, and support.

Full recipe cards with procedures are in place to ensure a professional and efficient environment.

With a large open kitchen with water views from the cooking line, it’s a destination job.

With direction from our award-winning Head Chef, you will work with the current team to deliver an exceptionally high standard of food.

Candidates must possess the following:

  • Passion for food is a must!
  • A creative flair is preferred
  • High attention to detail and presentation
  • Highly self-motivated with customer satisfaction a priority
  • A focus on efficient service, quality, consistency, and hygiene
  • Must have clear communication skills and work well in a team environment
  • Current driver’s license required
