An introduction to the basic theoretical knowledge required to take a boat to sea including; navigation, weather, rules of the road, safety and passage planning. This course is delivered in an online format at an introductory price of $270 (members $230). On booking for this course you will be sent details to login and begin your course.

The RYA host and deliver this online course and, once you have booked the course, we establish a login and password through the RYA via a user profile. We then send you hard copy learning materials and login details by mail. 

On completion of your course the RYA’s will recording details of the course and any certification you gain.
