Clubhouse Facilities

The CYCSA Clubhouse is the hub of on-shore activities and boasts an excellent 300 seat restaurant, adjacent indoor and outdoor bar areas, and an extensive under-cover patio overlooking the marina which is further complimented by meeting rooms and a landscaped BBQ area. First class shower and change amenities are also provided.

Reception
The Administration office located within the main Club-house is open seven days a week with the exception of Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday.

Dress Code
The Mariners Restaurant, Dockside Bar & Bistro and the Members Lounge require an attire of neat casual dress. The patio has a more informal mode of dress. Members and guests are reminded that the minimum standard of dress in the Dockside Bar & Bistro, Members Lounge and Mariners Restaurant/Horizons Function Room is walk shorts, shirt and shoes. Wet weather apparel, singlets, brief shorts, hats and thongs are not to be worn.

Club Merchandise
A large selection of Club merchandise can be purchased from Reception during normal office hours. Come in and see the monogrammed range of year-round apparel.

Credit Cards
For your convenience, you can pay all Club accounts by EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, Amex and BPay. In addition, your membership card can be used in the Mariners Restaurant, Dockside Bar & Bistro or in Reception to charge goods to your account.

ATM
An ATM is available adjacent to the entrance of the Members Lounge and is available during bar and catering opening hours.

Parking
Generally the Club provides sufficient parking for most members. A Club decal, available from the office, should be displayed on your car for identification purposes. Certain parking sites have been designated for Life Members, Board Members, Flag Officers and Association Chairs. Please respect these designated sites.  Four disabled carparks are available in close proximity to the western entrance to the Clubhouse foyer. Visitor parking is available at the rear of the parking facility. However on busy days the Club reserves the right to re-direct visitors in order that Club members are not disadvantaged. Please observe all traffic and parking signs including give way signs and parking time limits.

Speed Limits
A maximum 10 kilometre per hour speed limit applies to all CYCSA carparks.

Toilets and Showers
The main Clubhouse foyer, including shower and toilet facilities, is available for use 24 hours a day, and includes facilities for the disabled. In addition, there are toilet and shower facilities located in the Kinnaird Building. Access is also 24 hours. Toilet and shower facilities in the Marina West Entrance Building are accessible with a gate access card.

Horizons Functions Centre
The Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia’s Function Centre was named Australia’s Number One Club Reception Venue in May 2010 by the Australian Bridal Industry Association.  Horizons is a consistent winner and proud recipient of major Australian Bridal Industry Awards in 2007, 2008 and 2009, including winning best Ceremony Venue, Club Reception, and Function Coordinator. Our Club Functions Manager is available to discuss functions such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, school graduation ceremonies and special occasions. The Club also regularly hosts conferences and corporate events, staff training days, trade displays, product launches and much more. Our facilities are available 7 days a week for these occasions.

Ceremony Area
The Ceremony Area is located to the west of the function room and has direct access into the Clubhouse via its own entrance. Perfect for weddings, the ceremony area boasts wonderful marina views amongst gorgeous gardens. 

Kinnaird Room
Named after founding member and first President of the CYCSA Malcolm Kinnaird, the Kinnaird Room is available for members, Associations and for corporate events upon request. The room is fully equipped for meetings and conferences with TV, video/DVD, overhead projector, white board and tea & coffee facilities.

Members Lounge
The Members Lounge is available to members and their invited guests. An internet computer has been installed for your use during Dockside Bar & Bistro opening hours. A small library is available in the Members Lounge. Members wishing to borrow a book may do so by contacting Reception.
