The CYCSA Clubhouse is the hub of on-shore activities and boasts an excellent 300 seat restaurant/function room, adjacent indoor and outdoor bar areas, and an extensive under-cover patio overlooking the marina which is further complimented by meeting rooms and a landscaped BBQ area.
The Administration office located within the main Club-house is open seven days a week with the exception of Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday.
Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and Weekends 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Race Office Summer – Wednesday to Saturday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (Winter – as required)
The Bar, Bistro, Restaurant and the Members Lounge require an attire of neat casual dress. The patio has a more informal mode of dress. Members and guests are reminded that the minimum standard of dress in the Patio Area, Members Lounge and Mariners Restaurant/Horizons Function Room is walk shorts, shirt and shoes. Wet weather apparel, singlets, brief shorts, hats and thongs are not to be worn.
A selection of Club merchandise can be purchased from Reception during normal office hours. Come in and see the monogrammed range of year-round apparel.
For your convenience, you can pay all Club accounts by EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, Amex and BPay. In addition, your membership card can be used in Mariners Restaurant or in Reception to charge goods to your account.
An ATM is available in the foyer adjacent to the Function Room entrance and is available 24/7.
Generally the Club provides sufficient parking for most members. A Club decal, available from the office, should be displayed on your car for identification purposes. Certain parking sites have been designated for Life Members, Board Members, Flag Officers and Association Chairs. Please respect these designated sites. Four disabled car parks are available in close proximity to the western entrance to the Clubhouse foyer. Visitor parking is available at the rear of the parking facility. However on busy days the Club reserves the right to re-direct visitors in order that Club members are not disadvantaged. Please observe all traffic and parking signs including give way signs and parking time limits.
A maximum 10 kilometre per hour speed limit applies to all CYCSA car parks.
Toilets and Showers
The main Clubhouse foyer, including shower and toilet facilities, is available for use 24 hours a day, and includes facilities for the disabled. In addition, there are toilet and shower facilities located in the Kinnaird Building. Access is also 24 hours. Toilet and shower facilities in the Marina West Entrance Building are accessible with a gate access card.
Horizons Functions Centre
Horizons Function room at the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia is one of Adelaide’s best kept secrets, and benefits from The Club’s unique location in North Haven (just 25 minutes from the city centre), extensive secure car parking and stunning facilities. The complex features award winning indoor and outdoor function areas complete with panoramic marina views, guaranteeing guests a truly memorable experience. The Ceremony Area is located to the west of the function room and has direct access into the Clubhouse via its own entrance. Perfect for weddings, the ceremony area boasts wonderful marina views amongst gorgeous gardens.
Named after founding member and first President of the CYCSA, Malcolm Kinnaird, the Kinnaird Room is available for members, Associations and for corporate events upon request. The room is fully equipped for meetings and conferences with TV, video/DVD, overhead projector, white board and tea & coffee facilities.
The Members Lounge is available to members and their invited guests.
Sail Storage Facilities
A facility is available on the eastern lawn adjacent to the BBQ area. Sail
Storage facilities are available to members at a yearly hire cost. For further information or to apply for a storage area please contact the Racing Manager.
Trolleys are available for members use and are stored in an enclosure just south of the Kinnaird Room at Marina East and to the north of the Club rooms at Marina West. Please consider fellow members and return them after use. Trolleys are not to be left unattended on the marina walkways at any time.
